The Great Wandering of Hair and Chin

The re-edition of an original Czech comic book (first edition dates back to 1987) by the popular sculptor, painter, musician and illustrator František Skála (1956) captures the story of two inseparable friends: Hair, who can concentrate so deep that his hair grows at an immense speed and Chin, who starts to vanish in the blazing sun. This comic book could be compared to such works as for example Hobbit or The Neverending Story. These classical works of literature, though written, are popular among young as well as older readers who all like to read it again after some time. A brilliant story is accompanied by no less brilliant illustrations. A great choice of colours alternated with collage, the size of frames expressing either acceleration or deceleration of action, as well as details and the comic strip perspective send this book to the front lines of fame on the Czech comic book heaven.
