František Hrabal - In the Context of Artistic Production

František Hrabal (1930–2003) was a distinguished music critic. The book represents an extended selection of his works created over a period of forty years. Hrabal concentrated primarily on the 20th century music and its European context. He was an expert on Leoš Janáček, Bohuslav Martinů and Jan Novák’s musical works; he also focused on many composers of modern classical music such as Igor Stravinski, Arnold Schonberg and many others. The book was edited by Professor Ivan Vojtěch, the author of a study about František Hrabal.
